Fun In A Bakery Shop is a short comedy film released in1902. It is the oldest surviving film where stop motion technique has been used. The film was directed by Edwin S. Porter.
The story in brief:
The film starts with a baker's assistant entering the bakery shop yawning. He gets ready to start his work when he spots a rat climbing up one of the barrels. He throws a lump of dough from his table over the rat. Then he adds more dough on the rat and tries to conceal it by making various sculptures with the dough. Meanwhile some other staffs of the bakery enter the shop and find him sculpting on a barrel using the doughs meant for baking. They try to dissuade him but couldn't succeed.
