El Hotel Eléctrico (The Electric Hotel in English) is a silent short comedy film released in 1908. It is directed by the Spanish film maker Segundo de Chomón. It seems to be inspired by the American film released the previous year, The Haunted Hotel. The film uses stop motion technique which was becoming a favourite of the film makers during that time period.

A couple comes to stay at a hotel and are fascinated by the automatic services provided there on the click of a button. But their fascination didn't last for long. Watch the film to know how. The film shows both the good side and the dark side of automation.
