Animated music video

The official animated music video of the song “Take On Me” by the Norwegian synth-pop band A-ha. This animation video was created with the 1985 version of the song and is also the 2nd music video of the song, the first one released in 1984. The song was in the Number 2 position of the UK Singles Chart in October 1985. The video became widely popular for it’s innovative styleof mixing live action with pencil sketched animation. The director used rotoscoping to create the life-like pencil sketched comic strip style.
